WHY CHOOSE A RETAINER PROGRAM?

When you need ongoing, varied design services a retainer offers consistency and availability with an experienced designer, without the permanent commitment to payroll, HR, and other employee expenses. It can offer peace of mind as they are perfect for those who know they will need design services throughout the year. 

The retainer fee covers almost ALL of our services, without having fluctuating job costs. This includes graphic design, print design, *web design updates, social media design, email marketing, and more! The fee is paid upfront each month before work is ordered. We will block out the schedule at the appropriate time each month. This allows us to plan accordingly, which gives you the certainty of your project[s] priority without having to worry about what else is "in the queue" ahead of you. Not only does it make for a better client experience, but it’s also more efficient for all involved.

It's like having us on staff, without the worry of eating all the breakroom snacks.

Monthly Service Details

  • 3-month minimum commitment. At the end of 3 months, we will re-evaluate your program to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. 

  • Each retainer includes a set number of hours each month. Overage in time will be billed at our current hourly rate of $120 per hour. If we are running close on hours hitting their threshold, we will let you know beforehand.

  • Unused hours will expire. They do not roll over each month as that would defeat the purpose of allocating retainer time each month for projects.

  • You will get a detailed invoice each month for the projects worked and the hours allocated to them.
     

What type of services can be used in the Design Retainer program?

  • Graphic Design - logos for new products/services, icons, specials, typography treatments, small projects

  • Design for Print Materials - sell sheets, ad design, brochure/catalog, flyers, banners, promos, etc

  • Digital Materials - Social Media graphics, Blog Banners, and other web elements

  • Web - content, graphics, and web maintenance can be provided for select customers. 

  • Services do not include additional costs like additional fonts, ornate illustrations, stock photography & printing.

  • Additional services are available upon request. We can tailor a specific list if needed.

While we no longer need to convince people of the importance of establishing a social presence, we do need to stress the importance of formulating a social media strategy. As we take on managing your social media accounts, we will implement your social media strategy and schedule your posts in advance so that we can create a roadmap for success. 

Nervous about blindly letting us drive the boat? We offer an approval system where you can go through and see exactly what we have scheduled out for 2-4 weeks in advance. There you can suggest changes and make comments to ensure that we stay on the same page.
